Micah Steger is originally from the small town of Cramerton, North Carolina(right outside of Charlotte). Growing up in a Christian home, he always knew how to behave as a Christian, but when it came down to it, he just faked it and never made it. He gave himself to the world when he was 14 and this started him down a path of self destruction. He found himself doing and selling pills, hustling iPods and stealing Jordan’s, found himself in and out of school suspension, and in this pursuit of approval it led him to a greater abyss of loneliness. It wasn’t until June 14, 2007 when he experienced the love of Jesus for himself, and the zeal that he lived with for himself was then repurposed for spreading the Gospel. He went on to become the Student Body Chaplain at his high school Jr. and Sr. year. He was apart of an exclusive discipleship program under Pastor Steven Furtick and then interned at Elevation Church. After getting married to his long distance, high school sweet heart in 2012, they packed all they owned and left for Dallas, Texas to attend Christ For the Nations Institute. Micah received his Bachelors in Practical Theology from there in 2015. He is now the Assistant Director of Youth For the Nations where he oversees 120 interns throughout the year, gets to minister to thousands of teenagers throughout the summer, and is very involved with creative media. He has a unique gift of taking common kingdom principles and biblical stories, and communicates them in fresh, innovative ways. He is passionate about equipping and encouraging believers to live out revival lifestyles and making sure everyone he meets falls a little bit more in love with Jesus than they did before they met him. He currently resides in south Dallas with His wife, Ivette, 1 year old daughter, Ella Reign, and his new born son, Maddox Heir.
